Why we choose Swiss Water®
Your enjoyment starts with protecting what makes the coffee taste good.
Our decaf is processed in British Columbia using Swiss Water®. Unlike methods that use chemical solvents such as methylene chloride or ethyl acetate, this process uses water and carbon filtration.
The clever part? The water is already rich in coffee’s natural flavour compounds. That helps those compounds stay in the beans as caffeine moves into the water, where specialised filters capture it.
It’s a process designed to preserve the coffee’s character. We then choose and roast our decaf with the same goal: a cup you love drinking.
